Anand Law College was established in the year of 1964 under the guidance and supervision of the great visionary Late Dr. Gordhanbhai Shanabhai Patel (Vakil saheb) and is managed by Shri Ramkrishna Seva Mandal, Anand.
The Bar Council of India, New Delhi has given permanent recognition to this college for offering various law programmes. The college is affiliated to Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar and is proud to be the only college imparting legal education in Anand district.
The college is located in the heart of the city of Anand, which is emerging out as the focal point of education in the state of Gujarat. So far, the college provides instructions to the students for the various Degree, Post Graduate and Diploma courses like LL.B. (General), LL.B. (Special), LL.M. (Business Law group), D.T.P. (Diploma in Taxation Laws and Practice), D.L.P. (Diploma in Labour Laws and Practice) and D.C.L.P. (Diploma in Co-operative Laws and Practice).
To keep in view the increasingly complex intersection of law and business, the college also offers Dual Degrees (Integrated programmes) like B.A., LL.B. and B.B.A., LL.B.
Anand Law College is affiliated to Sardar Patel University (Re-accreditated ‘B’ grade by NAAC), Vallabh Vidyanagar. The college is included under section 2(F) & 12(B) of UGC Act, 1956.

Anand Law College is duly recognized by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi, an apex statutory body to grant the permission for running institutions imparting education in the legal field.

The legal professional is a noble professional. The study of law is a rigorous undertaking because our society entrusts lawyer with grave responsibilities. For making a perfect lawyer who is in a position to take the responsibilities, we need a Law institute and courses which are useful for the growth and development of the students.
In view of the excellent track record of more than four decades of Anand Law College, the management has decided to launch Various Dual Degree programmes besides conventional law courses to subserve the mounting needs of the legal arena. To our honour, Anand Law College is the only college in the whole of the state which offers maximum number of courses under the Faculty of Law.

Lawyers are held in high esteem in our society and there remains the faith that when all else fails, one can still take recourse to the legal system.
This profession is playing an increasingly important role in a democratic republic not only in the dispensation of social justice but also in promotion of just legal order envisaged by the Constitution of India.
With this vision, the college aims at offering instructions in subjects having enormous potential of employment and which have acquired great social, economic and administrative relevance in the contemporary society.
The teaching methods devised in this college enable the students to have a clear grasp of the principles of law as also their application in problems around them in the society, and inculcate in them a vision for the reforms of social processes through the instrumentality of Law.
The students are trained in excellent, effective and convincing communication and expression of the matters in speech as well as in writing.
